Description:

Reporting to the Director – Clinical Operations, the Care Manager - Seniors Health performs a leadership role in Seniors Health. This position is responsible and accountable for providing the direction, team leadership and organization over the activities of Seniors Health within a specific area(s) in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. The position is responsible and accountable for making front line unit-level decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for contributing to the achievement of the goals of Seniors Health in a person-centered care environment.

Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or other Health Care Profession required.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Applicants with a diploma in nursing or other Health Care Profession and 3 - 5 years recent experience in Home Care/Supportive Living/Long Term Care/Acute Care may be considered plus a minimum of 1 year working in a leadership capacity. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
