Your Opportunity:

The Clinic Manager performs a leadership role in the Kaye Edmonton Clinic Ambulatory Care Portfolio and reports directly to the Patient Care Manager. This Clinical Manager- Medicine Ambulatory Clinics position is responsible and accountable for providing direction, team leadership and organization over clinic activities and in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services.

Description:

The position is responsible and accountable for making unit-level decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for contributing to the achievement of the goals of the Kaye Edmonton Clinic Ambulatory Care Portfolio. The Clinical Manager will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders which includes but is not limited to Physician groups, Human Resources, Financial Services (BAS), front line staff, Interdepartmental Partners (ie: DI, Laboratory Services) and AHS Community Partners.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Registration with CARNA, Healthcare Provider CPR

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 to 5 years of current, recent and relevant clinical experience. Computer skills in Microsoft office and Connect Care The successful candidate must have a proven record of demonstrating skills in leading teams, developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships, and team building; as well as organizational, analytical judgment, change management and decision-making skills; effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated clinical expertise is required to make quick decisions in a very busy care setting. Must have the ability to function as a team member. Proficient in Microsoft office

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience. Management experience.
