Required Qualifications:

Graduation from a recognized Bachelor Level Degree nursing education program. Active registration and practice permit with CRNA. Minimum 3 years’ experience within the past 5 years of acute pediatric nursing. Minimum 3 years’ experience within the past 5 years in a management and/or leadership position within health care.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Pediatric Palliative Care experience. Palliative Care experience. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft o/s, ESP, RMS, Oracle, WBT, RLS, WHS, Excel, etc.). Demonstrated effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, patient-family focus and commitment to providing quality services. Excellent analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Ability to coach, teach, inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change and function in dynamic situations. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation and collaboration and to build relationships. Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional development. Self-directed and highly motivated.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Nursing, or Equivalent. Completion of 6 Leadership related courses in the past 3 years. Previous human, financial, and physical resource management experience in a leadership position in AHS. Previous experience in leading/supporting quality improvements projects. Knowledge of the principles of rotation management/ rotation optimization.
