Proven practical customer service, logistic and supply chain experience and professional development Courses/Seminars or undergraduate degree in business or a related discipline that includes organization development, customer service, logistics and supply chain and associated practical experience is essential. Leadership and Customer Service training, preferably with a proven track record in Healthcare. Minimum of five years experience in customer services, logistics, supply chain functions and direct staff supervision is essential. Experience in dealing with a unionized environment is essential.

Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse organization and managing within a unionized sector. Ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching. Creates a climate in which people want to do their best; ability to inspire and build confidence in others; empowers others; pushes tasks and decisions down; is someone people like working for and with. Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first hand customer information and uses it for improvement in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect. Excellent communicator with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage a diverse staff in an unionized environment. Can maneuver through complex political situations effectively and quietly; is sensitive to how people and organizations function; views corporate politics as a necessary part of organizational life and works to adjust to that reality. Clearly and comfortably delegates both routine and important tasks and decisions; broadly shares both responsibility and accountability; allows direct reports to finish their own work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in dealing within a multi site environment and health care experience is preferred. Membership of a recognized and position oriented professional body etc considered advantageous.
