Required Qualifications:

Advanced skills, knowledge and ability are required to lead and manage a diverse portfolio that includes cross-ministerial and community involvement. Areas of knowledge are not limited to acumen of clinical aspects, and include business management, clinical business leadership, human resources, quality management, capacity building and accountability. Educational Background: Social Worker, Psychologist, with 5+ post-licensure years’ experience in Addiction and Mental Health Services and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manager or management role. Must be a member in good standing of a regulated profession governed under the Health Professions Act and be able to manage and provide supervision to regulated members of the team. Please enter information in this field. Advanced skills, knowledge and ability is required to lead and manage a diverse portfolio that includes cross ministerial and community involvement. Extensive experience in managing and leading others in a unionized environment. Class 5 non probationary Drivers permit is required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

In-depth working knowledge and experience in addiction and concurrent disorders, prevention and health promotion, and operational management functions such as leading, planning, controlling and evaluating units of work. Extensive experience in managing and leading others in order to achieve key operating results is also a major responsibility of this role. Members of regulatory bodies must maintain active registration i.e. ACSW, APA.
