Your Opportunity:

This position is based out of the Stettler Hospital and Care Centre.

Description:

Reporting to the Area Director, Central Zone South, the Care Manager is accountable for strategic direction, leadership, management and administration for the site, in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. Provides leadership to staff in keeping with the policies and procedures outlined by Central Zone and Alberta Health Services. The Care Manager liaises and collaborates with area leaders, regional programs/departments, site and medical staff, external organizations and the community to ensure that clients receive quality care in a safe, competent and ethical manner.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree; consideration will be given to equivalencies in education and experience. A minimum of 5 years in a management role in a multi-faceted health care institution or service program. Current and Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA).


Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous experience managing a unionized workforce. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development in the areas of leadership and healthcare.
