Completion of diploma in Medical Radiation Technology. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Completion of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Member in good standing with CAMRT or ACMDTT/other provincial licensing bodies. Minimum of 2 years previous mammography experience. Class 5 driver's license or non GDL and have the capability of driving long distances to remote communities, year-round. The ability to lift supplies of at least 25 pounds up a set of stairs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position will be part of Primary Care Alberta effective November 18, 2024. Preferred Qualifications:Post graduate course(s) in mammography (e.g., CAMRT Mammo I and Mammo II). Specialty Certificate in Breast Imaging.
