Completion of diploma in Medical Radiation Technology. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Completion of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Member in good standing with CAMRT or ACMDTT/other provincial licensing bodies. Minimum of 5 years previous mammography experience. Minimum of 3 years management experience within a unionized environment or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of CPSA and CAR-MAP Accreditation. Knowledge and understanding of the HSAA Collective Agreement, with ability to apply it to everyday situations. Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license. Must be able to lift supplies of at least 25 pounds up a set of stairs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven experience working successfully within a multi-disciplinary team. Proven experience in conflict management, concerns resolution and performance management. Proven experience in quality control of mammography images and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:Post graduate course(s) in mammography (e.g., CAMRT Mammo I and Mammo II). Specialty Certificate in Breast Imaging. Experience working in a mobile environment.
