Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education in a related field and/or 1 year specialized/technical training in a related field OR 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate as per ABSA kW rating guidelines or AHS standards where boiler support is necessary. Possession of a valid driver's licence.

Additional Required Qualifications:

High School education or equivalent along with a 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate or higher is required. Minimum of 1 - 2 years experience in building operations and maintenance. Must be in good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have ability to work on ladder with arms above shoulder height for long periods of time when required. No physical limitations with regards to sitting, bending, kneeling, crouching, etc. Must be able to complete repairs and installations with due consideration to patients, staff and visitors. Must be familiar with snow removal and lawn maintenance equipment. Must possess basic computer skills in addition to good verbal and written communication skills. Access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Successful candidate will be required to travel between sites as needed.
