Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education in a related field and/or 1 year specialized/technical training in a related field OR 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate as per ABSA kW rating guidelines or AHS standards where boiler support is necessary. Possession of a valid driver's licence.

As Required.

Preferred Qualifications:

ABSA 5th Class Power Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (or greater). Journeyperson Certificate in a building trade. 5 years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of health care facilities. Ability to understand simple schematic drawings, read blueprints, equipment repair manuals, and manufacturer installation instruction and specifications. Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite and in a computerized maintenance management system.
