Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Possession of a valid driver's licence. Power Engineer 5th Class Certificate required where boiler support is necessary.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years related experience working in Building Maintenance. Must be in good physical condition with the ability to lift to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to work on the ladder with arms above shoulder height for long periods when required. No physical limitations to sitting, bending, kneeling, crouching, etc. Must have strong computer skills, in addition to good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to organize workloads and ensure duties are completed in a timely and thorough manner. Evidence of mechanical aptitude. Commitment to providing quality customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:General knowledge of purchasing processes and sources of specialized parts is preferred. Experience or training in a recognized trade would be considered an asset.
