Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Possession of a valid driver's licence.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of a Grade 10 education or equivalent required, supplemented by related technical courses and/or post-secondary education preferred. Experience with a variety of grounds-keeping and building maintenance tools (including power tools) and equipment used in the maintenance program is required including large motorized equipment (i.e., snow blowers, mowers, bobcats, graders). Must be in good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have ability to work on ladder with arms above shoulder height for long periods of time when required. No physical limitations with regards to sitting, bending, kneeling, crouching, etc. Cooperative and willingness to perform routine and repetitive tasks on a continuous basis. Must have computer skills, in addition to good verbal and written communication skills. Must possess a valid Class Five Driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair, for work-related travel are required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with trades would be a definite asset.
