Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Immunization Certification required. Recent 3 years O & G experience is required. Recent experience working in an outpatient/ambulatory setting. Recent experience working in an OR/day surgery unit. Demonstrated understanding of obstetrical and gynecology protocols, care and standards, surgical assessment care standards. Demonstrated strong communication skills. Ability to assist patient with mobility problems.
Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated experience documenting on an EMR - ACCURO preferred.
