Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous/Current experience working with the care of the elderly.
Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated strength in critical thinking and cost effective measures. Basic IT skills. Conflict Management and promotion of a positive work environment. Care of the Elderly related courses. Discharge Planning. Clinical audit. Demonstrates time management through flexibility and reliability.
