Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and priority setting skills required. Proven reliability required. Basic computer skills are required. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment required. Position requires candidates to perform moderate to heavy work on a regular basis in an LPN capacity in order to ensure safe patient care and safety of unit staff. This job is physically demanding, the incumbent will be required to assist with lifting, turning, and mobilizing patients as well as other physical tasks. Ability to support/ assist patients of varying mobility status required. Required to have completed CLPNA Restricted Activity modules. Preferred Qualifications:Two years' ophthalmology & otolaryngology experience preferred.
