Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills. Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and decision making abilities. Must be able to provide direction to other health care workers. Basic computer skills. Must be able to lift 40lbs (18kg).
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 1-2 years within the last 5 years Adult Acute Care experience. Acute and Chronic Hemodialysis and/or nephrology nursing experience.
