Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Familiarity with Meditech, registration, and immunizations, additional orientation is provided to LPNs to upgrade immunization knowledge and skills. Familiarity with Alberta Vaccine Management guidelines for handling and storage of vaccines required.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous immunization experience is an asset.
