Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Successfully complete the Stollery Pediatric Orientation program and pass the following: PEARS course (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization course) and the Stollery Medication Administration Exam with 90%.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 2 years pediatric inpatient surgery experience preferred.
