If you are a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who likes small town living, this position in Two Hills might be for you! As the successful candidate for this position, you will cover the Long Term Care department in the Two Hills Health Centre and model Patient and Family Centered Care. Situated 135 km east of Edmonton, Two Hills is an urban center serving an agricultural region. The town has a population of 1,379 while the county has approximately 4,500 people. Residents have easy access to the downtown and commercial areas, as well as several parks and playgrounds. The town has a grocery store, several restaurants, gas stations, two banks, various businesses, churches, two schools with Kindergarten to grade 12, an arena and curling rink, and a golf course. Within a half-hour drive are three beautiful lakes ideal for camping and fishing.
Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
