Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of CLPNA modules – Standards of Practice on Restricted Activities and Advanced Practice as well as certifications in required competencies. Direct IV Administration and PICC Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

ACLS, PALS, CTAS and Lead II/ECG interpretation is an asset. Connect Care experience. Two years recent experience working in a Sub-urban or Urban Emergency Department.
