Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum two (2) years experience working on a Medical or Surgical Unit. Demonstrated strong decision making and problem solving skills. Strong assessment skills. Proven written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of CoACT Collaborative Care and Patient & Family Centered Care. Experience with Meditech, Netcare, and Outlook preferred.
