Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent acute care experience required (up to full-time equivalent within the last four years). Ability to work to the full scope of the professional designation. Working knowledge of the AHS Harm Reduction policy suite is and Trauma Informed Care principles. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including external agencies. Demonstrated strength in working in a complex environment utilizing critical thinking. Ability to perform to the physical requirements of the position.
Preferred Qualifications:Correctional Health Services' experience is an asset.
