Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:The successful candidate will require the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Working knowledge of relevant legislation is required including the Alberta Mental Health Act and Health Information Act.
Preferred Qualifications:Active NVCI. Working knowledge of CBT, DBT, and Trauma Informed Care. Knowledge of mental health diagnosis, symptomology, and related treatment interventions. Working knowledge of psychotropic medications and psychopathology.
