Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 2 years clinical research experience. Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of clinical trial regulations and guidelines (ICH-GCP training, Health Canada and FDA). Experience with electronic data capture and database programs. Knowledge of MS word, excel and gmail programs. Experience with research ethics applications and processes. The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills to solve problems, organizational skills, utilize initiative and the ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to handle multiple demands while remaining flexible to accept new workloads as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with pharmaceutical sponsors/trials and contract research organizations. Experience/training in phlebotomy. Good Clinical Practice & Health Canada Division 5 certificates.
