Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years nursing experience-working inpatient nursing in any discipline. Ability to demonstrate independent and critical thought. Strong understanding of Addiction and Mental Health nursing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a Psychiatric inpatient unit within the last 2 years. Experience as an LPN in an Addictions and Mental Health setting within the last 2 years. Experience as an LPN in an acute care hospital setting within the last 2 years.
