Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Certificate or diploma from an approved LPN nursing program Recent Supervision and Mentoring of other LPN’s and HCA’S Current registration or eligible to be registered with CLPNA Minimum of 2 years (within the last 5) LPN pediatric experience Basic computer skills (MS office, Outlook) Ability to communicate fluently both verbal and written in English
Preferred Qualifications:Current N95 Fit Testing 3 or more years (within the last 5) LPN pediatrics experience Previous experience working in Pediatric Home Care or Home Care Medication administration module Experience with PARIS Program (in the community, e-charting) CVC certified Wound care experience Tracheostomy care and management CLPNA Medication Administration via Central Lines Learning module CLPNA Administration of Parenteral Nutrition Learning module
