Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Good communication skills. Ongoing education to meet the CCHSS standards and AHS qualifications is mandatory, with documentation that such education requirements are being met and submitted on a regular basis. Ability to be organized and able to set priorities to complete your work, along with working within a team setting. Reliable attendance record is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Long Term Care experience is an asset. PC computer experience in the use of Meditech and Microsoft programs is an asset.
