Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 1 year Mental Health experience required. Strong verbal communication skills required. The ability to express, communicate and document findings related to patient's emotional and physical health. Must be a self-directed learner and be able to function effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Demonstrates a strong professional accountability to nursing practice.
Preferred Qualifications:NVCI is preferred.
