Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be able to perform multiple, frequent patient transfers each shift. Must be able to wear a lead apron (15-20lbs) for prolonged periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in Diagnostic imaging interventional and angiography procedures, including interventional scrub training, desired. Certification in IV therapy, CVC Access and Care, POCT blood glucose monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation an asset. Experience in Hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, and PCA Pumps an asset.
