Required Qualifications:

• Qualified to practice law in Alberta and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta. • Three – five years' legal practice (excluding articling year) with a commercial focus. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong negotiation and legal drafting skills. • Motivated to learn, independent, self-starter. • Proficient at prioritizing and dealing with multiple assignments, all under significant time and other pressures. • Proven ability to work with senior management. • Ability to balance business considerations against legal risks to formulate creative legal solutions that advance client needs. • Strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to work well independently and with others to achieve common goals. • Superior organizational and influential skills, client-focused orientation, and commitment to providing quality services.


Additional Required Qualifications:

• Position may be performed in Edmonton or Calgary. • Due to the professional nature of this position, actual hours worked exceed those expected in a “regular” work week. • Travel within Alberta may be required on an occasional basis.
