Law Degree (JD) from an accredited university in Canada. Licensed to practice law in Alberta and a member of good standing with the Law Society of Alberta. Minimum of 4 years post-call legal practice with a corporate and governance focus; Strong background and proven experience providing legal advice in at least four of the following areas: contracting, procurement, data and privacy, technology and innovation, health, research, administrative and regulatory, insurance, and Indigenous law.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience providing corporate governance support; Experience handling complex corporate or commercial agreements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a healthcare organization; Experience working with government ministries; Experience collaborating with Senior and Executive Leadership; Understanding of the refocused health system; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with senior management; Strong negotiation and legal drafting skills.
