Required Qualifications:

This position is expected to deliver quality services on a cost-effective basis to assigned client groups who are located across the Province. More specifically, the incumbent will be responsible to provide effective legal advice, outline rights, obligations and liabilities, and identify solutions on complex and time-sensitive labour and employment matters to managers, human resources business partners, labour relations advisors and other professionals in all AHS divisions, consulting with other professionals within AHS and/or Legal & Privacy as necessary. This position will have independent carriage of assigned labour and employment legal files, and will represent the interests of AHS in labour arbitration hearings, applications in court and hearings before other administrative tribunals throughout the Province as required.
