Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, or a related field. 3-5 years experience in applied AI/ML projects. Expertise in ML and data mining concepts and techniques. Proficiency in Python (Pandas, SciKit, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and similar packages).
Additional Required Qualifications:Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management skills and demonstrated mentorship ability. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Commitment to ethical and compliant ML practices. Demonstrated ability to foster relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Must abide by the highest standards of confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:PhD in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, or a related field. 2 years experience leading applied AI/ML projects. Experience with SAS and SQL. Understanding of Canadian health systems. Experience working with health system data (administrative and clinical). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Access) and the ability to become proficient with new software packages.
