Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (ACMLT).
Additional Qualifications:Computer entry, processing, testing, and reporting of diagnostic specimens. Experience in Non-Gynecological Cytology is required. Excellent computer literacy and keyboarding skills are required. Excellent technical, analytical, and problem solving skills are required.Strong interpersonal skills and interacting with patients and other health care providers required. Ability to work independently as well as in a group setting is required. Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution. Proven organizational, time management, and sound decision making skills. Demonstrates and promotes the AHS values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Safety.
