Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working as an MLT in a mid-complexity laboratory setting within the last five (5) years. Minimum one (1) year experience in the development, review, and revision of policies, procedures, or forms. Intermediate experience with MS Office suite of applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint and Teams).

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an MLT in TM, CTL, and/or Transplant Lab within the last five years. Minimum one 1-year experience performing functions in an electronic document management system. Recent (within the last 5 years) experience participating in activities for an inspection to ensure compliance with standards and regulations for Diagnostic Laboratory Accreditation, including HC, CPSA, FACT and/or ASHI QMS Certificate or equivalent education in Quality Management Systems.
