Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Current Basic Life Support certification is required. Recent phlebotomy experience is required. Connect Care Rover training is required. Successful demonstration of laboratory and data entry skills is required. Working within a team environment, good interpersonal skills, effective time management and the ability to set priorities are necessary. The successful candidate must be adaptable and flexible within an environment of change and interruptions. The candidate selected will have the ability to listen, comprehend and orally respond to or relay information, directions or questions in person, over the phone, or in writing in an accurate, clear and concise manner. The successful candidate must represent Alberta Precision Laboratories in a respectful, professional and courteous manner.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent phlebotomy experience within the last 6 months. Knowledge and training in EPIC-Beaker. Recent experience in using Rover within the last 6 months.
