Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor�s degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, or equivalent exercise science degree. Current Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology Certified Exercise Physiologist (CSEP-CEP) certification or American College of Sports Medicine Physiologist (ACSM EP-C) or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM RCEP) designation.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support / Health Care Provider (BCLS/HCP) Level C certification required. Minimum of 2 years' experience in program development and delivering rehabilitative exercise programs to patients with chronic health challenges is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Cardiac rehabilitation experience or background is preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with recent nephrology or renal experience. Excellent rapport with individuals with disabilities and the elderly. Ability to function effectively as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. Previous experience with EMR preferred. Basic computer skills.
