IT Project Coordinator II, Provincial Support Services Projects
Your Opportunity:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our project delivery team as a Project Coordinator II within the Provincial Support Services Projects portfolio. You will play a key role that will directly support our Project Managers during the delivery of our client focused projects. We are looking for an organized self-starter that is ready to apply your strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems on your assigned project(s). This position will provide a broad range of support and administrative duties to our projects, project teams and/or program initiatives. You are a detailed oriented individual that knows how to track projects for scope, timeline, and budgets using a variety of tools to ensure work is completed within our PMO standards using your strong working knowledge of Project Management processes. In addition to your experience working on information technology based projects, you possess excellent communication, facilitation and organizational skills that allows you to effectively collaborate with a wide range of diverse stakeholders. Some of your work may include managing and manipulating large amounts of project information stores so you are already extremely comfortable using a wide range of computer-based productivity tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams. You have the ability to thrive while working collaboratively within a team on large complex IT program/project teams in a virtual setting and will also be comfortable working with minimal supervision. You are excited knowing that by joining this team you may sometimes be given the opportunity to coordinate portions of project related activities or even a small operational project.

Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 2 to 3 years of related working experience or a combination of education and experience appropriate to the position.
Preferred Qualifications:Strong working knowledge and skills using Microsoft productivity tools including: Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams. Possess a good working knowledge of project management principles, tools and methodologies. Demonstrated experience in these areas; track/manage project financials, track/manage procurement and track/document project progress. Have the ability to work extended periods of computer screen time.
