Required Qualifications:

Completion of certificate in Computer Support or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

1-2 years in one or more of the following fields: Technical Support, Clinical/ Allied Health or customer service. Sound knowledge of PC software, including Microsoft Office 2003-2010, Windows XP, Windows 7, Active Directory, Basic Adobe Acrobat PDF file management. Proficient keyboarding skills. Customer service focus and strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and decision making abilities. Good understanding of Alberta Health Services Information Technology practices and policies. Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Business, or a health-related discipline, preferred. AHS clinical system experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous healthcare experience is considered. ITIL Foundation. Experience with VMware Service Manager (VSM). Advanced Knowledge of the following technologies: MS Office Suite – 2003+. MS Active Directory – Server 2003+. Quest ActiveRoles Management Console & Shell. Microsoft Exchange 2007+ Management Console & Shell. Microsoft Windows Workstation Operating Systems (XP+). Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems (2003+). Microsoft Group Policy Management. Light Directory Access Protocol.
