Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:4+ years of Windows server related experience. 3+ years of experience with HP/Dell rack mount server hardware and Blade enclosures. Experience in VMware virtualization environments. Microsoft current certifications MCSE certification. Excellent troubleshooting skills in Microsoft, and HP technologies. Good understanding of Powershell and scripts creation. Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server 2012/2016/2019. Expand conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in remote teams. Good time management skills. Highly self-motivated and directed. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast moving environment. Demonstrated ability to develop and lead small to medium sized infrastructure improvement projects. Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Alberta driver’s license with ability to travel within Alberta.
Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft certifications in other related technology. Enterprise experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server. Microsoft System Center SCOM and SCCM experience. ITIL certification. Veritas clustering experience. VMWare VCP certified. Understand the key industry issues and able to use this knowledge in own work.
