Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:5 or more years of DBA and/or database-related experience using Oracle on Unix/Linux. Knowledge of relational database concepts, Experience in the support and management of large database installations. Troubleshooting of performance issues: evaluate code, analyze and make suggestions for improvements. Ability to balance numerous demands and conflicting priorities. Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams within set project schedules and forge a relationship by communicating effectively with different stakeholders. Ability to identify opportunities, develop and implement process improvements. Strong written and verbal commination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of writing efficient SQL queries. DBA experience using MS SQL. Mentoring, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Knowledge of SAN storage. Knowledge of Agile methodology and different architectural frameworks like Zachmann.
