Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology or related discipline. 4+ years of Windows server related experience. 3+ years of experience with HP/Dell rack mount server hardware and Blade enclosures. Excellent troubleshooting skills in Microsoft, and Dell server technologies. Good understanding of Powershell and scripts creation. Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server. Expand conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in remote teams. Good time management skills. Highly self-motivated and directed. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-moving environment. Microsoft current certifications. Demonstrated ability to develop and lead small to medium sized infrastructure improvement projects. Experience in virtualization environments. Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft certifications in other related technology. Enterprise experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server. Microsoft System Center SCOM and SCCM experience. ITIL certification. Clustering experience. Understand the key industry issues; use this knowledge in own work.
