Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A Diploma or Degree in a related health field such as Laboratory Medicine with at least 5 years of experience in information technology may be considered equivalent. Epic Certification or proficiency; preference given to Beaker module. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; an ability to resolve technical issues and identify root cause. Effective communication skills including technical communication/documentation. Experience in creating test plans, testing coordination, and test execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years related experience in a clinical area such as laboratory technology, informatics, or another medical field. Experience with integrated Laboratory systems including, but not limited to, Cerner Millennium, Meditech, Sunquest, Wellsky and Epic Beaker. Experience with project implementation, project management, and/or IT operations. Knowledge of healthcare system integration (HL7).
