Completion of diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Specialization and good hands-on knowledge in data protection with the following technologies: CommVault agent based and file-based backup/recovery, Intellisnap, integration with Database, VMware and storage array processes and technology. CommServ and Media Agents, storage targets like: disk-based and Data Domain. Strategy and best practices for: Disaster Recovery, offsite copies/replication, ransomware recovery. NetApp, Isilon and Unity disk-based snapshots. Backup libraries: Unity and Data Domain disk-based targets.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a health services or public sector environment, with an understanding of the alignment between business requirements and patient care services as well as the impacts internally and externally would be an asset. Experience with reporting, monitoring, alerting and management tools for enterprise data protection systems. ITIL foundation certification. Expertise in MS Office suite, including MS Project and Visio.
