Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

At least one year of experience working with digital imaging systems including RIS and PACS applications and interfaces in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. At least one year of experience working with Netcare. A strong understanding of organizational network and wireless systems. Experience working with Health Information Act (HIA) and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP). Advanced computer skills in MS Office including Excel and Visio. Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team. Experience troubleshooting issues with routine IT equipment and applications. Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, in a courteous, timely and effective manner when dealing with vendors, internal and external partners. Proven organizational and time management skills. Critical thinking skills and ability to effectively analyze issues and develop solutions on your own or in coordination with other partners. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Proven leadership skills. Experience in facilitating adult education and training. Experience in quality improvement methodology and approaches.

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid Class 5 Driver’s license. Experience working with mobile diagnostic imaging systems. Experience working in Connect Care. Understanding of the AHS IT department structure.
