Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing required. 3-5 years recent experience in clinical (non-patient) education required. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA). Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills as well as excellence in written and verbal communication required. Teaching with an adult education focus is required. Advanced Microsoft Office skills and proficiency with MS Outlook required. Excellent group facilitation skills required. Ability to prioritize and meet competing demands/requirements of the setting required. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with in-service and program development preferred. Demonstrated creativity, flexibility and initiative desired. Experience in Addiction & Mental Health preferred. Experience with education delivery via Zoom or other virtual platforms.
