Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 5 years broad based rural nursing experience with well-developed nursing skills in the areas of Emergency and Obstetrics. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience preferably with an adult focus in a health care setting. Strong computer knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a virtual team.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to applicants with instructors’ certification in ACLS, TNCC, PALS and/or NRP. Previous training as a Connect Care Superuser.
