Completion of bachelor's degree in a health related field. Minimum three years' experience in a clinical health care setting, OR experience and proficiency in two of the following: 1) patient care practice, 2) microbiology and infectious diseases, or 3) epidemiology and biostatistics. Active registration with the applicable college or hold an advanced degree in a health related field.
Additional Required Qualifications:As required.
Preferred Qualifications:Certification in Infection Control CIC© from the Certification Board of Infection Control. Completion of an IPAC endorsed novice IPC course. Experience in Infection Prevention and Control. Recent experience in an area of; nursing, microbiology and infectious diseases, epidemiology and biostatistics, public health or laboratory technology.
