Required Qualifications:

Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline with a proven record of marketing and communication strategy development and implementation, minimum 5 years. A minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in a health setting, public sector setting or complex organization. Expertise in health marketing/social marketing and communications with diverse populations. Aptitude in behavioral change methodologies and interventions. Proven experience developing and implementing communication plans. Aptitude for building and sustaining complex relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, working groups and steering committees and providing strategic marketing direction. Experience working with Indigenous stakeholders and communities. Advanced written and communication skills. Knowledge of health promotion and disease prevention, including strategies and best practice evidence related to cancer prevention and health marketing.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to independently manage and prioritize work, meet deadlines and provide detailed updates. Advanced skills in presentations and written communication to staff, partners and to external audiences (e.g. community). Ability to gather information from teams and translate the information into actionable strategies or health marketing products. Knowledge of project management methodology.


Preferred Qualifications:

ABC or CPRS membership an asset.
