A minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth in an inpatient care setting is required. Successful applicants must have experience working with Indigenous children, youth and their families. Experience facilitating groups. Experience supporting a program or project with multiple partners. Experience writing grants and grant reports. Experience gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data. High degree of cultural competence as it relates to working with other Indigenous people. Knowledge of Indigenous history and positive community connections within Treaties 6 and 8.
Additional Required Qualifications:Lived experience of substance use (required by the grant funding this position).
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to those applicants with experience facilitating groups, supporting a program or project with multiple partners and with a high degree of cultural competence as it relates to working with other Indigenous people. Experience in the field of addictions and mental health preferred.
